Visiting Scholars and Students Celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival with CUHK Members
The Office of Academic Links (Mainland and Regional) at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) hosted a Mid-Autumn Festival luncheon on 2 October for scholars and students participating in the Mainland and Taiwan Visiting Scholar Programme and Visiting Student Programme, together with CUHK staff.
The event provided a warm and festive atmosphere, where scholars and students from various Mainland institutions engaged in lively conversations, sharing their academic and life experiences at CUHK and in Hong Kong. The gathering fostered mutual understanding and strengthened academic ties across regions.
CUHK launched the Mainland and Taiwan Visiting Scholar Programme in 2008 and the Visiting Student Programme in 2011 to enhance collaboration with partner institutions and promote academic exchange and talent development. These programmes offer opportunities for faculty members and students to conduct research or study at CUHK, encouraging knowledge sharing and interaction.
