Mainland students of CUHK share their experience and difficulties during their studies in Hong Kong
Mr. Fang Lei and Mr. Li Jiamian, Director and Project Officer of the Department of Education, Science and Technology of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the HKSAR, paid a visit to The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 20 December 2022. The delegates met with Ms. Wing Wong, Director of China Engagement, and interacted with mainland students studying at CUHK. Ms. Wong gave a brief introduction on the University’s recent development. The students shared their experience and difficulties of studying in Hong Kong. Mr. Fang Lei encouraged the students to grasp opportunities to understand local culture.
Zhejiang Lab Visits CUHK
A delegation of Zhejiang Lab visited The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 20 December 2022. Delegates included Mr. Sun Yi, Director of Zhejiang Lab’s Talents Office; Ms. Liu Zhen, Assistant Director of Service Centre for Recruiting Talents and Mr. Ke Wencong, Commissioner of Scientific Research and Development. They met with Professor Tsang Hon-Ki, Acting Dean of Faculty of Engineering; Professor Chen Nan, Department of Systems Engineering and Engineering Management; Professor Ren Hongliang, Department of Electronic Engineering and Ms. Wing Wong, Director of China Engagement to learn about the University’s recent development and discussed collaboration issues between CUHK and Zhejiang Lab.
