The Fifth Standing Committee Meeting of the Association for Introducing Foreign Intelligence was held online on 19 March. Ms. Wing Wong, Director of The China Engagement Office of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) attended the meeting. Participants gave reports and exchanged ideas on on issues of attracting talents in higher education sector, and formulating international strategies and international cooperation in scientific research. The development strategy of the Association in the new era as well as its annual work plan in 2021 were also discussed.

The Association for Introducing Foreign Intelligence is formed by a group of tertiary institutions dedicating efforts to promote internationalization and academic exchange for higher education in China. Its main activities range from organizing exchange seminars and training classes, promoting information flow and resource sharing. CUHK is a member of the Standing Committee of the Association. The meeting enabled participating institutions to share updates on latest development with one another, devising future plans to establish stronger links.
