To advance educational internationalisation and foster integration in education in the Greater Bay Area, the South China Normal University (SCNU) hosted the seventh “Global Exchange Lecture Series” on 19 September. Ms Wing Wong, Director of Academic Links (Mainland and Regional) of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), joined the activity and delivered a talk on CUHK’s Mainland affairs and development strategies.
In her presentation, Ms. Wong outlined CUHK’s strategic approach and achievements in key areas regarding its participation in national initiatives, building world-class collaborative networks, establishing research hubs, leveraging Greater Bay Area opportunities, and enhancing global reputation. She shared experiences with participants on a range of topics covering student training, research innovation, talent recruitment, and sustainable development. The lecture combined theoretical insights with actionable strategies for advancing collaborations among universities in the region to drive educational openness and high-quality institutional development.
