CUHK Joins Mainland–Hong Kong–Macao Legal Education Alliance Annual Meeting
The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) participated in the Annual Meeting and Symposium of the Mainland-Hong Kong-Macao Legal Education Alliance on 10 January 2026. The event brought together law schools from across the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, and Macao to exchange views on legal education, talent development, and regional collaboration, further strengthening inter‑institutional partnerships.
Professor Miao Miao, Associate Dean (Education) of the CUHK Faculty of Law, delivered a keynote speech titled “Legal Innovation in the Digital Era: Collaborative Development of Legal Education in the Mainland, Hong Kong and Macao” at the Symposium, examining the impact of rapid advancements in artificial intelligence, platform economies, and cross‑border data flows to reshape legal systems, highlighting opportunities for joint talent cultivation across regions. The meeting enhanced interaction among member institutions and reinforced cooperation in legal education, for advancing regional rule‑of‑law development and nurturing high-calibre legal professionals.
